School Rules
Please take a moment to review these basic guidelines. We truly feel that adherence to these
traditional 'common courtesiess' will greatly enhance yours and everyone else's enjoyment of
the school. Let's work together to create an atmosphere that is safe, friendly and fun.

*Please bow when entering and leaving the studio.

*When addressing Black Belt holders use words of courtesy such as 'Yes sir' or 'No sir'.

*Always stand at attention and bow first when addressing Black Belts.

*All Black Belts are called by their last name no matter what their age inside the studio.

*The school owner or Master instructor is always called by their last name.

*Always bring your sparring gear and weapons with you to class. This would be like not taking
your pen and paper to school with you.

*No gum chewing, loud conversation or giggling during class.

*No unnecessary roughness, profanity or obscene gestures during class.

*Practice whatever you're taught whether it's mental or physical.

*You must have our permission to enter tournaments.

*Keep your uniform and equipment clean.

*Practice good hygiene.

*Remove all jewelry for your own safety.

*Learn to tie your belt properly. Your belt is a sign of your progress and should be treated
with the utmost respect.

*Introduce yourself to your fellow students whom you do not know and make them feel welcome.

*Enter each class with spirit and energy for learning.

*Remember: "He who is afraid to do too much... always does too little." Work hard and
encourage your teammates to work hard as well.

*As a member of our team, we're counting on your enthusiasm and contribution each and every
day, train at least twice a week and make up missed classes immediately.

*Never miss graduation, get extra help to stay on schedule.
